Become your own mighty Odysseus or courageous Ronia—create your own chronicles—and traverse through California's mysterious corridors, lava-formed caves, and stalagmite-covered grots. There are plenty of enormous boulders which help form these cool sea caves. The experience is a bit campy, but it is also quite historic and unique. In order to reach these caves you will need a four-wheel drive vehicle since you are going to have to navigate eight miles of dirt roads. Definitely do not go if rain is in the forecast or has recently occurred.

You are equipped with only a headlamp and a rope,and this adventure is only available for ages 12 and up. Caves
The entrance to the cave was formed when a portion of the lava tube collapsed. This cave is only open for exploration April or May (dependent on snowfall) through October, but it is free to visit.
